My name is Rick Marlow and I own and operate 1st Response 24/7/365 We are a very small family-owned business. With the help of my wife and daughter, I hope to grow into something much bigger. I personally enjoy helping people and when I got involved in towing I found my home. Being on call 24/7 is not for the weak minded and I take great pride in what I do.  A lot of folks don't realize just how much goes into the wrecker service. For example its like just sitting down for your one fresh meal for the day and getting a call no more than you got your silverware in it and have to leave it sitting to go get the next call. We forget about that dinner and go to help complete strangers. We don't go a night without getting some sort of phone call waking you up. I am so dedicated to what I do I don't leave my town to get dinner somewhere nice with my family because I know the minute I leave town I will get a call, ruining a night out with my family. We put in endless hours some days barely making it to the next day. We go stand on a 3" Yellow line with our life in peoples hands that is barreling down the highway with hardly a regard to me even being there. I take what I do for a living very seriously as I know the odds when I stand on that line trying to never take my eyes off the oncoming traffic. Some look at wrecker services as scavengers and I hate that the people who feel that way went through a bad experience, because we are not all out there for the money necessarily, some of us such as myself are in this for the right reasons. Helping people is a passion to me, and towing is a way for me to do just that. We thank everyone who has supported us as repeat customers and to the customers passing thru that I will never see again and to the ones who we haven't met just yet. If not for those folks we would not be where we are and we sincerely have the utmost appreciation for that.
